How to Rate a Book on Bookclubs

Modified on Tue, 13 Oct at 11:22 AM

Rating a book is optional, but it's a lovely way to keep track of the ones you loved. Choose a number from 1 to 10, with 10 as the best.

Where to rate a book

Select My rating next to a book on its book page, or on the already-read shelf on your profile or in your club.

Who sees your rating

Your rating shows on your own profile. In any club where you've marked the book as read, the club's average rating appears for that book, and the members of your club can see how each member rated it.

Importing from Goodreads?

You can bring your books and ratings over from your profile by selecting Import Books, where you'll find step-by-step instructions. Goodreads ratings use a 5-star scale, so they're doubled when you import. A 4-star rating becomes an 8.
