Can anyone join the club I've created?

By default, people join your club with its unique invitation link, so only people you share the link with can join.

If your club is on the Join a Book Club page
Readers who find your club on our public Join a Book Club page can join directly, unless you require approval (see below).

Approve members before they join
For more control, require people to request to join. They'll answer your membership questions, and you approve each request.

1. Open your club and go to Club Settings.
   Website: Club Settings is near the bottom of the club navigation bar.
   App: Go to the About tab, then tap the gear icon.
2. Under How would you like someone to join your club?, select By approval.
3. Add your membership request questions and save.

Who can use approval
Approval is available on any paid Bookclubs plan, and it's free for all clubs listed on the Join a Book Club page.

If your club charges a membership fee
Members add their payment details when they request to join. They're only charged once you approve their request.
