What is ranked choice voting and how does it work?

Ranked choice voting lets your club rank book options from favorite to least favorite instead of picking just one, so the winning book has the broadest support across the group.

Available on Host, Leader, and Champion clubs

Ranked choice voting isn't available on the free plan.

Add it to a poll

1. When creating a poll, under Add book selections, select Use ranked choice voting.

How to vote

1. Use the dropdown next to each book to give it a rank, with 1 being your favorite.
2. You don't have to rank every book — leave any you're unsure about blank.
3. To move a rank you've already used to a different book, first clear that rank from the book you originally gave it to.

How the winner is determined

The book with the highest score wins. If two or more books tie for the highest score, no single winner is declared.
